Having led English teaching at the KS1, as well as KS2 level our founder has a rich experience of teaching all age groups. From supporting children in synthetic phonics, to preparing children for their SATS we have an excellent understanding of the needs of children at every level. Having led English as a class teacher from Year 1-6, we understand where each child is coming from, but more importantly, we know where they are heading.

11+/Exam Prep (VR/English)

At CleverClass we understand how important your Child's education is, with one of those major milestones being the 11+ entrance examination. We are dedicated to preparing your child for those tests, to make sure their hard work comes to fruition. With a history of working in a Prep school and the successful entrance of students to some of the top Grammar schools in the country, our team knows what you need to succeed. Not only will we teach the core knowledge necessary to pass the 11+ test in English, including comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Creative Writing, we also teach exam technique and preparedness. Not only this, but if you know what school you are working towards, we can provide more targeted learning based on past papers, ensuring your child has the best start in their future education.

GCSE English

A watershed moment in all pupils of English is the GCSE. As a core subject, whose impact can be felt many years into the future, it is important to get this right. We offer support in both Literature and Language to ensure Mastery of both. That is why it is so important that students are ready and prepared to show their greatest attributes.
